Celest Salgado is a an artist who was born and raised in the Bay Area. The oldest of four to a single mother, and the first in her family to attend university in pursuance of a B.A, Celest has worked hard to shed the need to be the “ideal” firstborn daughter. Now 22, she honors the imperfect artist through the embodiment of authenticity in all her creations, and a process of creating for joy, rather than perfection.
